The Weapons Cache is a feature of Cribs in the Saints Row, Saints Row 2, Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row IV.

Weapons Cache symbol
It is present in all interior cribs, and allows the player to access stored weapons. It is a Cribs' feature in Saints Row and Saints Row 2 and Gateway's feature in Saints Row IV. It also appears in Saints Row: Total Control, but is not a crib feature.
Weapons are automatically added to your Weapons Cache when they are picked up or purchased, but new weapons will not appear in your Weapons Cache until after you have switched to another weapon. So simply picking weapons up on the street will automatically add them to your Weapons Cache, and there is no need to go to your Weapons Cache to "deposit" them.
It is possible to access your full Weapons Cache through the store menu at either Brass Knuckles and Friendly Fire. Instructions to access your Weapons Cache are displayed at the bottom of the screen. Because of this, it is possible to access your Weapons Cache before unlocking your first Crib.
Some weapons acquired in missions are not retained after the mission ends. For instance, the weapons from the Prison Armory during "Jailbreak", and the weapons used during the Fuzz and Drug Trafficking Activities.
