Thanks for your contributions. We hope you'll stick around and become a regular editor here.

There is plenty to do and there are many ways you can improve the wiki.
New information is always welcome in any article, but here are some specifics if you need ideas:

Or check out these general pages:

I forgot to say earlier, but thanks for that list of Hijacking vehicles! 452, 2013-04-29T18:23:27Z

You're welcome, If you want help with some pages, I'll help. Now I planning buy Capture Box for my XBOX, so I will able to add some photos in High quality, maybe some videos too.
CSGF1995, 2013-04-29T18:35:54Z
We definitely need more help, and we absolutely need high quality photos of stuff from Saints Row.
I think I'm the only person active on the wiki who has a capture card, and mine is about 10 years old. I can only take 640x480 shots, so sometimes photos of a TV looks better than my screenshots.
We only have high quality mission images thanks to Moozipan Cheese taking screenshots of youtube videos, so it would be great to be able to get other high quality images - you'll definitely be my new favourite user if you can! (But don't tell Moozipan Cheese I said that)

CSGF1995, 2013-04-29T18:54:45Z
I just added Modifications to car Ricochet and I used "new" more synoptic design. If you like it, I'll edit all vehicles to this design. Later I'll add photos of parts too.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-02T12:28:09Z
I see.
The Kenshin article has something similar, with some extra descriptions - I didn't do that myself, but I left it intact when I was adding the modification sections since it was more descriptive. I haven't added any detailed breakdowns like that myself, but there's no reason why it couldn't be done for all vehicles.
Is there any advantage to the way you've done the Ricochet modifications, to the usual way - as with Forum:Full vehicle mod list?
Eventually, I'd like to have every vehicle page up to the standard of the Voyage article, with full details about each variant, with images. One extra thing which could be done with this article would be to break down the modification section similar to how it's done in the the Kenshin article, with notes about which modifications appear on which variant.
452, 2013-05-02T21:06:59Z (last edited: 452, 2016-11-22T11:49:59Z)
The variants won't be problem, but spawning chance, parts, etc. yes, because I don't know how to read game files. And about descriptions, I think, that photos will be better.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-03T08:39:03Z
That's why I've already added all of that information to the wiki.
But is there any advantage to the way you've done the Ricochet modifications, to the usual way?
452, 2013-05-03T14:52:29Z
It's more synoptical, that usual, e.g. for vehicles, that are featured in all SR games is easier find, how many options has car in each games, or when you want know, how many wheels has car, you'll just find bullet Wheels and you can't read every sentence and find it. But if you don't like it, I'll write it in normal way.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-03T17:48:14Z
So If I wanted add others car modifications from Saints Row 1, would I use "normal" or "new" design?
CSGF1995, 2013-05-04T17:47:01Z
I can't actually see any reason not to do the expanded way. I'd originally been trying to keep it concise, but you're right that using a bulleted list does make it easier to read.
I had actually forgotten to finish adding the list on forum:Full vehicle mod list to all vehicle pages, but I can easily reformat everything on that page to be a bulleted list instead, to make it easier for you to update vehicle pages.
452, 2013-05-04T18:05:50Z (last edited: 452, 2016-12-31T18:45:34Z)
OK, today I'll add others 22 car modifications in Saints Row 1 (Compton, Betsy, Baron, Ruckus, Rampage, Stiletto, Venom, Hollywood, NRG V8, Rattler, Mag, Zomkah, Reaper, Attrazione, Zenith, Quasar, Voxel, Justice, Raycaster, Eiswolf, Gunslinger, Bulldog) and next days I'll add another.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-04T18:19:59Z
Okay, that's updated now
The page is sorted alphabetically, I'm going to go through it now and add a line between each vehicle. Okay, done.
There are 222 lines for 144 vehicles.
If you can update all 144 vehicle pages, I'll give you a star on your userheader (Like User:Azaram has)
452, 2013-05-04T18:42:51Z
With the Compton and Betsy articles, you've added Saints Row info, but have left the old Saints Row 2 info.
I think it's important that it remain consistent, at least within individual articles, although it should eventually be the same in all vehicle articles.
I've made it very easy with forum:Full vehicle mod list to just copy/paste the info.
452, 2013-05-04T18:52:08Z (last edited: 452, 2016-12-31T18:45:45Z)
OK and about the star, I'd be glad for that, plus I'll save your time with it.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-04T18:52:22Z
All modifications sections have now been updated.
452, 2013-05-04T21:09:03Z
I saw that and about total options, I don't think, that Rims options should count to this, because it don't count in other games. And one more thing, isn't better use same names of parts as use game (e.g. Exhausts and Exhausts Tips; Fender Skirts and Wheel Cover; etc.)-Just my idea.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-04T21:14:22Z
Can you refresh my memory and remind me how the Rims work in Saints Row?
I remember the menus in Saints Row 2, but quite can't recall how it's done in Saints Row.
452, 2013-05-04T21:51:19Z (last edited: 452, 2013-05-04T21:59:40Z)
Could you take a look at the Jackrabbit in Rim Jobs and see if it matches the info I've just added to the article?
I thought there were only 3 hoods available, but according to the variant info, there are 4.
  • Factory Standard Hood
  • Carbon Hood
  • Factory Standard Hood w/ Intake
  • Carbon Hood w/ Intake
452, 2013-05-05T00:10:19Z
In Saints Row 2 in Wheels menu you can choose Rims, Tires, Hubcaps, Spinners, Wheel size, Wheel width and Wheel profil (big tire, small tire, etc.). And about Jackrabbit, it's impossible to play SR1, because now I can't use my XBOX 360, but later I'll check modifications of all cars and check it in pages, because in Compton's modifications of SR2 is written, that you can buy decals for this vehicle, but you can't.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-05T14:59:28Z
No worries, I'm away from my xbox too at the moment.
Yeah, that happens some times, because the decals are available for variants but can't be purchased - when you do check in the game, just mark it as (Cannot be purchased) or something, rather than removing it.
I'll add the Compton variant info today, so it's more clear. :)
452, 2013-05-05T15:24:53Z
OK anyway I had chance to use my XBOX, so I checked all cars modifications and Jackrabbit has 3 hoods. And about variants parts, which cannot be bought I mark they with "star" (*) and at the end of Modifications I write some legend.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-05T17:50:02Z
Cool, that means there's one of those hoods which you can only find randomly spawning.
Since there's only a 5% chance of a Riced variant, it means there's probably a 1/50 chance of finding whichever hood it is.
Do the Jackrabbit hoods have names in Rim Jobs? If not, it still should be pretty easy to work out which one is missing.
(I'm almost finished with the Compton variant list, btw)
  • Edit: done.
edit: As it turns out, the info about the decals was already in the trivia section.
452, 2013-05-05T17:58:55Z (last edited: 452, 2013-05-05T18:20:38Z)
Yes, all parts in Saints Row 1 have got names, but in Saints Row 2 they haven't.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-05T18:34:35Z
Hmm, I'm not sure why Hydraulics was in a few of the paint sections, thanks for catching that.
452, 2013-05-05T19:26:34Z
No problem, today I'll check others cars.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-05T19:58:00Z
  • tomorrow
CSGF1995, 2013-05-05T20:11:46Z
If you have any cars in particular that you'd like me to add the full variant info for, let me know. It takes a while to write up the info, so I don't think I'll get them all done any time soon.
Hopefully the list of variant details will help you get screenshots of them all later.
452, 2013-05-05T23:15:32Z
Full list of variants it's impossible to me, because I don't know, how to read game files, but if you tell me, how to read game files, I'll help you.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-06T13:02:48Z
You don't need to read the game files. That's why I created Forum:Vehicles and Forum:Variants.
edit: I read over my comment again, and I didn't even ask you to help me.
452, 2013-05-06T13:08:34Z (last edited: 452, 2016-11-22T11:51:44Z)
No, but I offering help, because you're administrator, so you know, where is help important and where not.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-06T14:05:31Z
Ah ok, well any help with that would definitely be appreciated.
When I was writing that comment, I had actually originally written "If you like, you can add the variant details yourself, using the variant sections on Attrazione, Mockingbird and Voyage as a guide" - but deleted that part before posting, which is why your comment seemed normal at first. :)
The reason I deleted it was because I figured it was better if you concentrated on confirming the details in-game, that way I could focus on adding explanations for the parts which weren't available to purchase, but you're quite welcome to add variant details yourself!
I did the list on Voyage a while ago, and I mostly just highlighted what the differences were, rather than listing every single feature of each variant - it's up to you how much detail you want to do.
I'm also using the Variant details to add names to the Modifications section - the names aren't always visible in the game. In SR2, everything just says "Option 1", etc, but in the game files, all the parts still have names, which is weird.
452, 2013-05-06T14:13:43Z
OK, I'll check orther cars.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-06T14:20:16Z
OK, all cars from Saints Row checked. Where you need another help? (For Saints Row 2 it must wait, because I completed only first two missions on XBOX.)
CSGF1995, 2013-05-06T20:26:57Z
So there's no other options which aren't available at the mechanic?
452, 2013-05-06T20:28:46Z
In Saints Row 1 not, maybe you can write detailed description to Vehicle Customization, how it's in Saints Row 2 (Color types, Performance, Table with counted options). Color Types are Opaque, Matte, Gloss, Candy, Metallic, Iridescent, Pearlescent, Metal. Performance are Hydraulics and Nitrous. And about table, I don't know, how to make table on Wiki, I tried at Hijacking with car list, but later I rather write it in bullets.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-06T20:37:54Z
There's a list of colour options here: Vehicle Customization#Colors
452, 2013-05-06T20:45:55Z
I know, but it's in Saints Row 2 and I forgot others colors (Glass (for windows), Standart, Shiny, Matte (All three for interior and misc.color)). Numbers of these colors I'll write you later.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-06T20:58:28Z (last edited: CSGF1995, 2013-05-06T20:59:10Z)
You added variants info to Stiletto, but I don't think, that Reward in SR2 cannot be customized (If you think Sons of Samedi, which is given after complete mission The Shopping Maul).
CSGF1995, 2013-05-07T20:46:40Z
The unlocked gang vehicles are the basic Gang variants, that "Reward" variant isn't referring to the unlocked Gang Stiletto.
I'm not sure what it refers to, but it's interesting that it's Saints Purple.
What colour is Johnny Gat's Stiletto?
edit: I looked at the game file and it should be random. The "Reward" variant isn't referenced by any game file, so it's apparently unused. I'll add a note.
452, 2013-05-07T20:56:29Z (last edited: 452, 2013-05-07T21:02:30Z)
OK and about the "No hood" variant, when I played Insurance Fraud in Saints Row, I saw some car without hood in Docks & Warehouses, only what I remember is, that was some older car (from 70s or 80s or 90s), maybe it was Stiletto, maybe other car, which has "No hood" variant.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-07T21:13:33Z
Cool, thanks!
I'm working on the Zomkah variants now, and it looks like all Zomkahs have a Hood Ornament, except for Aisha's, used in ...To Kingdom Come and unlocked at the end of the game. It's not listed in the modifications section, so I don't think it can be changed the at the mechanic, could you confirm that for me?
452, 2013-05-07T21:18:11Z (last edited: 452, 2013-05-07T21:19:33Z)
No, you can't buy Hood Ornaments for Zomkah at Rim Jobs, anyway I checked all cars from Saints Row, so if I didn't write it, it can't be purchased. Tomorrow I'll check the colors in Saints Row and start playing Saints Row 2>Later I will be able to help you with modifications in Saints Row 2.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-07T21:25:42Z
Cool, thanks. I'd never noticed that Aisha's Zomkah was special like that.
452, 2013-05-07T21:33:36Z
OK, so here is color list from Saints Row
Opaque, Matte, Gloss, Metallic, Candy, Pearlescent have got 80 colors and Iridescent has got 40 colors. These colors can be purchased in all color options. Metal has got 16 colors adn can be with other colors purchased in Trim and Rim colors. Stardart, Matte, Shiny have got 21 colors and can be purchased in Interior and Misc color. Glass has got 23 colors and can be purchased in Window Tint.
CSGF1995, 2013-05-08T10:58:50Z

Traxx Master Misc colour.Edit

On 2013-05-06, you added the words "(Cannot be purchased)" next to "Misc Color" in the Traxx Master article.

Could you please explain why you did this? 452, 2014-04-20T15:50:25Z

Because when you switch to "Color" tab, you can choose Body, Trim, Rim, Window, but you can change misc color (color of bike).
CSGF1995, 2014-04-20T20:48:48Z
Yes, you can, so why did you say you cannot?
452, 2014-04-20T20:51:34Z
I don't play SR1 long time, but when I played, I've tunned Traxx Master, bought bike on roof, but I couldn't change its color, so I bought roof without bike. But if it's possible to buy bike's color, it's my mistake of my memory and I sorry for that.
