The Thorogood is one of the most powerful trucks in the games. It has excellent acceleration and top speed, but due to its lively rear end and massive wheels, it has below average handling, as its suspension causes the whole vehicle to bunny hop sideways and sometimes go in the air for a few milliseconds if it is pushed beyond its limits. This makes the vehicle very unpredictable and almost undriveable in a police chase. In Saints Row: The Third however, the Thorogood's suspension has been given an incredible makeover, and the truck handles much more comfortably, although understeer now plagues the truck because of its stiffer suspension.
No Chop Shops are searching for this vehicle, and is usually driven by Civilians all over Stilwater and Steelport. A random Thorogood variant is featured in level 4 of Tow Truck.
