Merit

I've been seeing a lot of the same obvious statements added as "Tips", and this is a solution to that problem.

Yes, upgrading your car is a good idea, and can help in every single mission and activity, but that does not mean we should make a "Tips" section in every single article and explain the benefits of increased vehicle strength.

But unfortunately "Upgrading your vehicle will help with this activity" is factual, helpful and accurate - so it's against the policies of the wiki is just remove it, and there's no policy against something being "too obvious".

I think this page will be worthwhile, if only as a place to dump general tips which aren't specifically related to an activity.

On the other hand, tips which relate to a certain activity should not be included on this page. -452 (talk) 17:10, January 1, 2014 (UTC)

Saints Row: The Third

I'm not sure of the exact text of the nag text for SRTT, so I'm dumping this here for now so someone else can confirm which lines are displayed. There are definitely some that aren't.

So, they planed to make Steelport interesting, but ultimately decided that it was better to make it boring.

• "TUT_SHORTCUT_SPLINES":"Discovering shortcuts updates your GPS with newer/shorter paths."
• "TUT_TAKEOVER_RESPECT":"Completing missions, activities, diversions, and taking over the City earns Respect, which increases your Rank and allows you to purchase Upgrades."

These lines are the lines from SR2, but notably converted to uppercase, with a few changes and new entries.

• Upgrades are available in the Cell Phone Upgrade store; purchase them to improve yourself and your gang.
