Article name

I was surprised to learn that there was not an article for the map, until I found this article by accident.
The name of the article should be "map". Apart from common sense, the game calls the map "Map" in the help menu. While the map obviously has the functions of a GPS, what the game calls it should take precedence.

  • "CONTROL_DESC_PAUSE_MAP": "Map" (The controls screen says it is the "Map" button)
  • "HELP_TEXT_MAP_TITLE": "Map" (The help section on the Map is named "Map")
  • "HELP_TEXT_MAP": "The Map screen is one of the most important screens in Saints Row 2. [...] Press {MAP_MENU_IMG} to open your Map. "
  • "HELP_TEXT_SALES": "[...] you can tell when a store is having a sale by going to the Map Screen on the Pause Menu and rolling the cursor over a Store icon."
  • "TUT_MINIMAP": "This is your mini-map. Markers and GPS navigation lines here will guide you to objectives. Press {MENU_SELECT_IMG} to set GPS waypoints on the Pause Map."

I am renaming this article based on this. -User452 22:42, March 20, 2011 (UTC)

Additionally, I didn't notice but (before today) there were no pages which linked to GPS, while 2 pages linked to Map. The redirect should be kept anyway, because GPS is a valid term, just not the term used in-game. -User452 23:09, March 20, 2011 (UTC)
  • It would be great to update this page with the Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row IV icons informations/images.
