Satan is the ruler of New Hades, a city located in Hell. He is also the father of Jezebel and the main antagonist of Saints Row: Gat out of Hell.
Satan is the driving force behind the events of the game. Early on, he causes trouble for the 3rd Street Saints by kidnapping The Protagonist during a surprise birthday party for Kinzie Kensington, and plans on forcing them to wed his daughter.Template:Fact
Satan rules his domain with cruelty and absolute ruthlessness.Template:Fact He cares little for anything but his own self interests. This even applies to Jezebel, leading the two of them to have a strained father-daughter relationship.Template:Fact

Not much is known about the history of Satan before the current story, except from audio tomes . Satan used to be in heaven before he got cast down to hell. From then on, he transormed hell from a "pleasant time out space" into a fiery purgatory. He also determined not to bow to God again, and at some time later waged war against heaven, only to lose. He blamed the defeat on his general, Vlad the Impaler, even though the latter did warn him that they were not ready for a prolonged conflict. Having imprisoned Vlad, he looked for a new general to bring greatness to his army.

Embarassed of being beaten by mortals, Satan cast Gat, Kinzie, Jezebel and the Boss to the ship . His fate after that is unknown.
