The Santo Ileso Police Department, also known as the Kavanagh County Sheriff's Office, is a law enforcement agency in Saints Row (reboot),
Overview[]
In Saints Row (reboot), the Santo Ileso Police Department, or SIPD, is one of many antagonistic forces that oppose the main character, the Boss, and their gang, the Saints. The SIPD are dedicated to protecting the citizens and property of Santo Ileso, and frequently resist the Boss's efforts to take control of the city from the other factons.
The SIPD fills a role similar to the real-life Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department[1], as they are responsible for law enforcement in the City of Santo Ileso, Kavanagh County, the City of Sunshine Springs, and the City of Vallejo.
Similar to the Steelport Police, the SIPD will never bust the player, instead opting to either beat them until they're dead, or employing lethal force.
The SIPD uniform is unique, consisting of a tan colored long or short-sleeve uniform shirt with SIPD patches, a gold star badge, brown epaulettes, light teal pockets, a light teal tie, brown pants with black boots and a black belt, and an optional brown campaign hat with a blue band and gold badge.
Like other law enforcement agencies in the Saints Row series, corruption is present in the Santo Ileso Police.[2]

Gameplay[]
The police are a constant threat, as they can never be removed from Santo Ileso or Kavanagh County.
Police officers can be found frequently patrolling on foot in Santo Ileso and Sunshine Springs, almost always in pairs.[3] Officers will perform vehicle patrols solo or in pairs throughout Santo Ileso, Sunshine Springs, and Kavanagh County.[4]
If the Boss commits a crime, they gain Notority from the police, which appears as white bars with a badge symbol along the bottom of the mini-map. The more Notoriety the Boss recieves, the more police resources (culminating in the dispatching of SWAT and the National Guard), making escaping or defeating incoming backup much more difficult.

The SIPD operate out of a large station located in West Flats, Santo Ileso, and out of a substation in downtown Vallejo.
Trivia[]
- Officers patrolling in Kavanagh County drive the Shield patrol car, based off American police vehicles from the 1980s. Vehicles of this age have long been retired from active service in most police agencies worldwide.
- The campaign hat worn by some police officers can be purchased at Wearhard Industrial Clothing, although the rest of the uniform is unavailable to the Boss.[5]
- Despite being patrolled by the Santo Ileso PD, Vallejo has a building marked as the Kavanagh County Sheriff's Office with a slightly different logo.[6]
- No police vehicles spawn at the Vallejo Sheriff's Office.
- SIPD officers will sometimes patrol Vallejo on motorcycles, which is unique to the district.[7]
