Sanatorium Flats is a location in Santo Ileso in the Saints Row (reboot).[1] This area is located south of Jasinki Park and Lakeshore.
Description[]
"In the early 20th century, Santo Ileso became a destination for those in search of a hot, dry climate to recover from respiratory ailments. In 1902, the industrialist Orville Benton Musgrove opened the Musgrove Sanatorium where wealthy patients could convalesce in luxury. During and following the Great War, this area also became the site of a vast but orderly tent city for soldiers recovering from tuberculosis.
During the Great Depression, occupancy at the Musgrove Sanatorium declined, and in the 1940s, Kavanagh County acquired the building for use as a hospital. Meanwhile, developers purchased the surrounding land to accommodate the growth of Lakeshore to the north and El Dorado to the east.
By the time the hospital finally closed in 1986, the quiet Musgrove estate had been transformed into a bustling commercial district, with a shopping mall, football stadium, bowling alley, and multiplex cinema. Though not as trendy or exclusive as Marina del Lago, Sanatorium Flats remains a popular destination among shoppers, tourists, and sports fans.
Here you can find the Smelterdome – home to the Santo Ileso Smelters football team, Meeker Mall, Santo Ileso Police Department HQ, Crazy Chicken Dance Studio and the Old Electric Company, now converted into luxury condos."[2]
