Index[]
- I'm thinking we need an index. I made this page for my own personal use, but I think everyone can benefit from this.
- The only trouble is that it needs to be upkept, but it's not too much hassle.
- Oh, and links on this page should remain as external links, so it doesn't count them as having been linked from other articles if they haven't.

- As updating this list is a little awkward, especially considering renames and deletions,
I'll write a program to automatically crosscheck listed pages with the current list of all pages. It should be fairly trivial to do. When it's done, I'll upload it so anyone can use it. --452 01:42, January 9, 2012 (UTC)

Due to the number of duplicates, I'm going to eliminate the "by game" portion of this index. Ideally, all 931 pages should only be listed once. This page is not intended to be a replacement for browsing categories. --452 02:57, January 9, 2012 (UTC)
Okay, complete. This was done manually, by copying the category tree, and using a comparison tool to find missing pages, another comparison tool to eliminate duplicates. I may still eventually make a tool to compare with the current list of all pages. --452 04:04, January 9, 2012 (UTC)
- Of course the problem with this index is that it's static, and must be manually updated, which really goes against a lot of the reasons for a wiki to exist. Luckily, there is a way to fix this.
- Since the index is simply a list of categories anyway, I change the index to simply list the contents of each category. Perhaps this method can also be used to update the random templates. At the very least, it should make updating the random templates easier, since the contents of the index can be copy/pasted. --452 22:52, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, a few edits later and the index is now almost completely dynamic. I've had to leave a "misc" section, these are largely articles which are difficult to categorise to begin with. There's around 40 articles duplicated in the list, but it's bearable. --452 02:40, April 23, 2012 (UTC)
