Missions provide the narrative of Saints Row.
- For missions in other games in the Saints Row series, see Missions.
- For Strongholds, a special type of mission in Saints Row, see Strongholds in Saints Row.
Description
Missions are essentially levels that allow the player to progress through the storyline of Saints Row.
After completing three missions and a Stronghold in the prologue (which all serve as a tutorial), the game's missions become seperated over three different story arcs which concentrate on the 3rd Street Saints' efforts on conquering the other three gangs that own Stilwater: the Westside Rollerz, Los Carnales, and the Vice Kings.
Respect is a form of currency that is used to start missions, and can be accumulated by playing Activities; which also unlock cash and other bonuses upon completion. Overall, there are 36 missions in Saints Row.
3rd Street Saints (prologue)
- Main article: 3rd Street Saints
The 3rd Street Saints prologue details the Protagonist joining the 3rd Street Saints gang and helping them retake Saint's Row District (also colloquially known as "the Row").
The missions are available after watching the "The Streets of Stilwater" cutscene, and consist of three tutorial missions and one Stronghold:
Missions
Stronghold
This Carnales Strongholds must be completed before being allowed to start "Reclamation".
- Abandoned Storefront (unlocked after "Back to Basics")
Westside Rollerz
- Main article: Westside Rollerz
The Westside Rollerz story arc details the Protagonist's efforts at taking down the Westside Rollerz, with help from Julius Little, Troy, and an undercover informant: Lin.

- Price's Mansion (unlocked after "No Time to Mourn")
Los Carnales
- Main article: Los Carnales
The Carnales story arc details the Protagonist's efforts at taking down Los Carnales, with help from Dex and Troy.
The missions are available at any time after completing the "Reclamation" mission, and the story arc consists of ten missions and five Strongholds (although "Abandoned Storefront" is a Carnales Stronghold, it is part of the prologue):
Missions
- Crack Down
- The Missing Shipment
- Homeland Security
- Trojan Horse
- McManus Says Hello
- Meeting Orejuela

- Main article: Vice Kings
The Vice Kings story arc details the Protagonist's efforts at taking down the Vice Kings, with help from Johnny Gat, Dex, and even Benjamin King himself.
The missions are available at any time after completing the "Reclamation" mission, and the story arc consists of eleven missions and five Strongholds:
Missions
- Aisha's Favor
- ...To Kingdom Come
- Always Use Protection
- Reinforcements
- Best Laid Plans...
- Green With Envy
- 3rd Street Vice Kings

- Abandoned Police Station (unlocked after "Best Laid Plans...")
- King's Grocery (unlocked after "3rd Street Vice Kings")

3rd Street Saints (epilogue)
- Main article: 3rd Street Saints
The 3rd Street Saints epilogue details the efforts of the Protagonist (now second-in-command), Dex, and Johnny Gat trying to free their boss, Julius Little, who has apparently been incarcerated by the Stilwater Police Department.
The epilogue is available after watching the "Battlefield Promotion" cutscene which plays after conquering all other gangs, and consists of just three missions - the last of which is essentially just a cutscene.
Missions
- Stuffing the Ballot
- Hail to the Chief
- Saints and Martyrs (erroneously known as "Salting the Earth", which is the name of the cutscene)
Trivia
- Although a required mission as part of the Saints Row prologue, the "Abandoned Storefront" Stronghold is considered a Carnales Stronghold.
