The Main Menu[1] is displayed when starting the game. The background is one of multiple views of the city, with active pedestrians and vehicles. One of several in-game tracks is played, and after 30 seconds, a demo video plays.

- Load Game - This menu can only be accessed after signing in and selecting a storage device

The Map is the first screen when pausing the game.
Info[]
The Info menu contains:
- Objectives
- Lists the current and completed objectives for the current mission
- Message Log
- Lists viewed cutscenes, unlockable rewards, as well as all subtitles
- Story
- Lists summaries of each completed mission
- Activities
- Lists the status of each activity
- Statistics
- Lists a variety of recorded Statistics.
- Achievements
- Triggers the achievements menu, no differently than accessing it through the xbox menu.
Help[]
Displays help text for a variety of in-game subjects
Phone[]
- Main Article: Phone
Allows calling Homies, inputting Cheats and dialling arbitrary Phone Numbers.
Audio Player[]
The Audio Player allows playing in-game tracks purchased from Scratch That, as well as playing Xbox playlists.
Save/Load[]
In this menu, it is possible to select a different storage device.
It contains two options:
- Load Game
- Save Game
It is possible to overwrite existing saves, but it is not possible to delete them.
Options[]
The Options menu is accessible from the Main Menu, as well as the pause menu. The Pause menu has an extra option: Quit Game, which returns to the Main Menu.[2]
