The Machete is a weapon in Saints Row 2, and Saints Row: Total Control.
Overview[]
The Machete functions exactly the same as a Knife, but does significantly more damage. It is available at Brass Knuckles from the beginning of the game, and it is the melee weapon of choice of the Sons of Samedi.
The Machete is also the preferred weapon of Mr. Sunshine, which Playa uses to decapitate him at the old meat packing plant.[1]
Trivia[]
- The Cheat for this weapon in Saints Row 2 is #937.
- Although this weapon is outclassed by the Samurai Sword in terms of range and moves, the Machete deals more default damage.
- This is one of the only weapons that can block, along with the Samurai Sword and bare fists.
