Genkibowl VII is an upcoming dlc in Saints Row: The Third.

Description

"The Wide World of Genki takes over Steelport for a sporting tradition totally and utterly unlike any other."

Named along side "Nyte Blayde Pack", "Gangstas in Space", and "The Trouble With Clones" in the current downloadable content listed on the "Season Pass" as future dlc.

It will be released in January 2012.

Glitch

A few players have been able to get to the island for the upcoming Genkibowl VII DLC. This method doesn't work for everybody, but if you go to the location shown in the video and warp to shore at that spot, you might just get there.

The video in question was uploaded on January 4th, 2012 which was a mere two days after a patch that Volition themselves had said "laid the groundwork for the Genkibowl VII DLC". The console versions have had the update since december. Only the PC didn't get it as a part of the update. However, according to another page on the saintsrow.com site, "all three systems" have supposedly still been updated for the DLC.

Trivia

• Before release of Genkibowl VII, when comparing Trophies on Saint's Row: The Third on PSN with a friend, you'll see DLC trophies for Genkibowl VII. This also occurs on Xbox Live when just viewing achievements.
