There are many hidden "Easter Eggs" in the Saints Row series.
Description
Easter Eggs are secrets hidden in video games and films which are not related to the plot and reference something from outside the story.
Allusions in various titles are not generally considered to be "Easter Eggs" and are listed in the Trivia section of each article, not on this page.
See the game credits articles for a list of in-game references to developers.
31 Theory
In Saints Row: The Third, during Kinzie's Homie conversation with Josh, she mentions her "31 Theory"
- Kinzie: "The 31 Theory. Anything important is always connected to a 31. Nyte Blayde Season 3; best season, aired in January, had thirteen episodes."
Many works of fiction often contain multiple references to the same number, usually the favorite number of the writer. TVtropes refers to this concept as an Arc Number.
Here are some other in-game references to 31 and 13, some obviously deliberate, some possibly coincidental.
Saints Row
- The code to Ben King's Penthouse is 3131
- There are 31 discrete items in the Funky Fresh Pack, although this is likely to be a coincidence, as it was advertised as having 69 items, due to the different wear options
- There are 31 Single Player Achievements in Saints Row
Saints Row 2
- Vinnie, the contact in the Hotel and Marina Crowd Control cutscene mentions "Bukkake High School 31"
- Assault on Precinct 31 - originally assumed to be purely a reference to the film Assault on Precinct 13
- During Appointed Defender, Gat says he was in jail for "Two years and 31 days"
- The description for the Hitman target Tim says that he a fireman who thinks he's seen an arsonist light 31 different buildings on fire
- There are 31 Compliments and Taunts available as Gang Customization options
- Stilwater Savings and Loan has 13 stories
- News 13 Stilwater is one of the stations shown in The Anna Show cutscene
Saints Row: The Third
- There is Whored Mode level called "31 Days Later"
- Murderbrawl 31 occurs during the game, Murderbrawl 13 is mentioned by Angel in his Homie conversation with Burt
- In the closing cutscene for A Remote Chance, Killbane mentions "defending the world title 13 times in one night"
- TOGO-13 weapon in the Moneyshot Pack
- In the mission [[1]], during the Text Adventure "Dragons and Tears", it mentions "praying to the 31 gods of Diaz that your torch won't go out"
- The code for the elevator in Party Time is 3131
- There is a song on 97.6 K12 FM by The Bloody Beetroots called "31 Seconds to Die"
- Nyte Blayde's enemy, Mr. X is said to have "destroyed 31 orphanages"
- During Three Way, Male Voice 1 Protagonist will say he's read Jane Eyre 13 times
- During the Murderbrawl XXXI, Zach says that "[Killbane] stabbed [Angel] 13 times while the ref wasn't even looking..."

Saints Row 2
Secret Areas
In Saints Row 2, there is a Collection Diversion to find 32 Secret Areas, many of which could be considered "Easter Eggs".

Civilians can be seen performing Idle animations in both Saints Row 2 and Saints Row: The Third.
Suicides
There are many Civilian suicide locations in Saints Row 2.
Sky-divers
In Saints Row 2, there are several locations where Civilians with failed parachutes can fall from the sky.
Cabbit
The Cabbit is included in both Saints Row 2 and Saints Row: The Third.
Hockey mask
In Saints Row 2, There is a Hockey mask near the lake to the north of Mount Claflin Broken {{ref}} (blank parameter) , which is similar to Jason Vorhees' mask from the movie Friday the 13th.
It can be picked up as an improvised weapon, called "Bones". When picked up, it appears as the hockey mask, but when the player walks away from the original location, it turns into a skull. When replaced, it turns back into the mask after a few seconds.
Baby Sea Monster
Near the Secret Area known as "Super Secret Area, there is a small "Sea Monster" which swims in a large circle. It is essentially the same as fish which can be swimming in many areas, and follows a set path. It cannot attack, flee or be killed.
It appears to be similar to the skeleton on Bone Island, and may be the same type of creature.
Mehrman
There is a billboard to the east of the Hotels & Marina district which says "Beware of the Mehrman", with the notes that he was last seen off the Marina Shore and is "Flippered and Dangerous".
There is a drawing of half man-half fish, which does not look like "Baby Sea Monster".
Mehrman is a reference to Brian Mehrman, one of the art team.
Shock Paddles
When a corpse is lying on the ground, first walk a short distance away from the corpse and it will be lying flat with all limbs spread. Shock the body with the Shock Paddles and the corpse will be launched into the air.
Read Fiction
In several locations, there is an unenterable store named "Read Fiction" which parodies the name, font and logo from Red Faction. One store location is in Sommerset, near the Gas Station.
Saints Row: The Third
Nossirah
In Saints Row: The Third, there are several identical cargo ships called the Nossirah, which is "Harrison" spelled backwards.Template:Fact
Dead Penguin

- HMS Seahorse - Real, lost at sea

- Octavius - Real legend, crew frozen
- Borealis - Fiction, Half-Life 2

Titanic
On one of the cargo ships, there are two blow-up dolls that are re-acting a scene from the film Titanic.
Swords
Some dock cranes have a sword leaning against the base. At least three are located in Salander. One is directly west of Snatch, one is east of the Organ Blackmarket, and another is north of the Organ Blackmarket. The cranes closest to Kinzie's Warehouse do not have swords.
