Drive-by is a Minigame Diversion in Saints Row 2.
Overview[]

After killing 2 gang members from a car within a short period of time, a prompt appears to start the Drive-by Diversion. Shooting Civilians and law enforcement does not trigger this diversion, but shooting Pimps or Saints gang members does, which can be used to trigger this diversion after finishing the game.

In this diversion, specific groups of gang members must be killed with a weapon while in a car, leaving the car starts a 30-second countdown to get back into any vehicle.
After a certain time, remaining Gang Members in a group flee. Killing unmarked Gang Members, including fleeing Gang Members, does not count towards the total. Running over Gang Members, or killing them on foot, does not count towards the total.

As with all Diversions, there are 10 levels. Each level has an increasing number of Gang Members to kill, with 264 in total, across 34 groups. Each level gives a Gold, Silver or Bronze rating, depending on how many of the required Gang Members have been killed. To earn Gold, at least 238 Gang Members must be killed. This Diversion must be started over from the beginning if failed or exited.
After completing certain level, 1 unit of gang Notoriety is added. This may make Diversion harder as reinforcements constantly shoot and ram Playa's vehicle.
There are no unlockables or Achievements associated with this Diversion, although playing this diversion is a good way to earn 3 Gold Diversion stars in Gang Kills.
Ranks[]
After each level, a kill percentage and ranking are displayed.
- >90% Gold - Contract Killer
- >80% Silver - Cold Blooded
- >50% Bronze - Thug
- <50% - Petty Crook
