The Bulldog is a vehicle in Saints Row, Saints Row 2, Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row IV.[1][2][3]
Overview[]
The Bulldog is a 4-seat pickup truck that makes an appearance in all four Saints Row games. In Saints Row 2 and Saints Row: The Third some Bulldogs are equipped with a roof-Mounted .50 cal gun turret.
Saints Row[]
The Bulldog is a considerably rare vehicle, only driven by fellow Saints with gold/black/chrome rims and trims and the Saints Purple body color.
Loan Sharks drive in a white variant if the loan is not paid in time. This variant has First Born Loan logos and is a unique vehicle which cannot be modified.
Victor Rodriguez from Los Carnales has a Bulldog. It is red and is tougher than a normal Bulldog, and is unlocked in the Garage upon completion of the mission "What Goes Up...".
A Bulldog can also be easy obtained via level 7 of the Hijacking activity in Los Carnales territory. Once the Bulldog is visible, quit the activity and the driver of the Bulldog behaves like a normal driver.
The Bulldog is wanted by the Chop Shop in the Downtown District.
Saints Row 2[]
The Bulldog is available as a Gang Customization vehicle, in the third group of vehicles after conquering 30 hoods.
Pierce drives a Bulldog in Saints Row 2 when he is called as a homie.
Brotherhood[]
A special The Brotherhood variant is only used in the mission "Thank You and Goodnight!", and can be obtained.
- Start Thank You and Goodnight!.
- Play the mission normally until the Bulldog appears when passing Mount Claflin.
- Exit the mission.
- Steal the Bulldog.
The General[]
The General owns a turreted, camouflaged Bulldog. It makes two mission appearances and cannot be obtained from either of them:
- In Red Asphalt, it can be found inside Donnie's and optionally used to attack the target vehicle.
- The final segment of The Shopping Maul involves pursuing and destroying the vehicle to kill The General and finish the Sons of Samedi. Upon completion, the vehicle is unlocked in the garage.
Saints Row: The Third[]
In Saints Row: The Third there are 2 separate Bulldogs, one with a turret, which has 3 variants, and the unarmed one, which has 5 variants.
Both base Bulldogs have a Military variant, which comes with a desert tan paintjob, SNG decals, protective front grill and a large exhaust pipe in the left. The unarmed version pursues Playa at level 4 or 5 police notoriety, as well as being used in roadblocks. The military variant of the Bulldog becomes a rare sight during STAG occupation due to the N-Forcer. Once the game has been completed, STAG vehicles are absent and Bulldogs make their return.
The version with a turret is similar to The General's version, but the turret can be operated by another person, or Playa if there are no other passengers.[4]
The Luchadores have an unarmed Bulldog as one of their 3 car choices. This variant has a black and green paintjob, with box cover.
Saints Row IV[]
In Ben King's simulation, Anthony Green uses an SNG Bulldog's mounted turret against Ben King and Playa.
The same variant is present during "We have the Technology", where Playa can drive it and its mounted turret can be used by Playa or Johnny Gat.
Performance[]
The Bulldog has a very wide turning radius, which can be problematic, however reaches exceptional speed and control for a truck or truck-like vehicle.
The Bulldog is no Superiore, but it is somewhat agile for its size. Even with its stiff suspension, this vehicle's sheer size and weight undermines tire grip and overall handling. It also has very vague steering, and the suspension transmits short snappy kicks. In hard turns the Bulldog has an tendency to roll and it isn't a very strong vehicle as one minor accident can cause huge dents. On the plus side, it does have incredible off-road capability with the standard tires but they can be customized to be almost as huge as those of a Bear.
In Saints Row: The Third the Bulldog has lower torque and a higher steering speed, but it otherwise the same as in previous games.

It is not possible in any game to add a machine gun turret to a Bulldog that did not originally have one or remove the turret if it is present. In Saints Row 2 only The General's Bulldog has a gun turret. In Saints Row: The Third, the way to obtain a Bulldog with turret is to steal one from the SNG with at least 4th level of police Notoriety. In Saints Row IV, the SNG use only turretless Bulldog and it is not possible to obtain the one with turret without editing the game files.
